Will my puppy get my older dogs habbits and copy her?

My older dog is about 11, and a bet hound! She always beggs for food at the table, and barks when ever dinners being made! She also sits on the garden doorstep untill you give her food to come in... I was wondering will my little scottie puppy copy her?! I am taking her puppy training every saturday, will this help!? Thanks xxx
