Why did they switch up Snitsky with Mike Knox?

WWE just released Snitsky a little while ago, and his role has been taken by Mike Knox. I mean, they're practically the same character. So why switch it up at all. Snitsky was good in the ring and they both play the bully gimmick well, so what does Knox have that Snitsky doesn't?
