Is God even responsible for anything that happens in the physical world?

If you think about it, anything and everything that happens in this world happens for a physical reason and if it ever affects us positively or negatively it more likely occurred through luck, probability, or sheer coincidence rather than "fate" or the deluded idea of oneself being chosen by "destiny" or God.
