I am in the process of moving into my own apartment. I am looking for tips on being independent. I am ready!?

I am dependent on my parents and I've always been. That's just how they raised me, but now I am getting more independent. I have a job and I'm paying my own bills, on time. I applied for this subsidized housing almost a year ago and I finally got approved for housing. I've been waiting for this opportunity and I think it's too good to p up. I am kind of afraid of leaving the nest but I'm gonna have to do it one day. I know my parents won't be with me forever so I have to better myself so they won't have to worry about me.
