I'm dating my ex-girlfriends best friend....?

So, I am dating my ex girlfriends' best friend...but my ex has NO idea about it and i dont know...cause im taking my girlfriend to prom but i dont want any problems prom night. but my school i like that of laguna beach show so drama is bound to come about. what the hell do i do?
