The freezer on my refrigerator defrosts during a cold winter day?

Do you keep yours in the garage or very cold room. I have the same problem with one i keep in the garage and when i made enquiries as to why it does this. Seemly some domestic fridge freezers stop freezing once the temp gets lower than 3 or 4 degrees C. They are really only meant for kitchens.
